Job Description Requirements Provide Tier II support for escalated service desk tickets, including hardware, software, network, and application issues Deliver hands-on, in-office technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and disruption to business operations Perform system administration tasks such as user account management, permissions, group policy updates, and patching Manage and support Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments, including provisioning and access control Support Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, and enterprise applications Maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems Implement and follow IT security best practices, including role-based access control and endpoint security Perform system updates, patches, and software installations to ensure system security and efficiency Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments Collaborate with IT Operations, Security, and Network teams on cross-functional initiatives Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and solutions in the IT knowledgebase Maintain IT asset inventory and track hardware and software lifecycle Provide user training on IT systems, security protocols, and best practices Mentor Tier I technicians and assist with complex issue resolution Collaborate with IT Operations, Security, and Network teams on cross-functional initiatives. Mentor and assist Tier I technicians with complex problem resolution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of IT operations, helpdesk, or system administration experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management tools. Working understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and ITIL-based processes. Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and cybersecurity best practices. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a customer-first mindset. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or ITIL are preferred.
