Schedule is TBD: 8 hrs daily, 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Role Overview SkyTerra Group is an expert network in engineering services running a suite of high-powered AI applications. We are looking for one (1) dedicated software engineer to provide ongoing backend support and maintenance of our existing proprietary applications, including our internal Agent Tracker platform (AI agent orchestration across Claude, Codex, and Grok). This is a staff-augmentation role. The engineer reports directly to Dr. Jonathan Scharf (CEO) and works as an embedded, dependable member of the SkyTerra team. We are not looking for a large team — we want one high-quality, self-directed person who shows up every day, tracks work, and keeps things running. Core Responsibilities The work is intentionally focused. We want minimal, reliable effort done consistently — not sprawling scope. Responsibilities include: Bug fixes and stabilization: triage, debug, and resolve issues from a SkyTerra- provided task/bug list. Production hardening: review features SkyTerra prototypes in staging, solidify them, and confirm they are ready before promotion to production. Release support: promote ready features to production; isolate not-ready work via feature branches/flags Reliability: keep existing/minimum functionality reliable and prevent regressions. Backend maintenance of our AI applications, including the Agent Tracker (agent swarms, model/effort/agent-count selection, UI studio, backlog management).Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Strong full-stack engineering background (frontend and backend). Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems and agent-based tooling (e.g., Claude, Codex, Grok, or comparable LLM orchestration). Comfortable maintaining and debugging production backend systems. Experience with feature branching/flags and safe release practices. Excellent English communication — clear, responsive, and able to work closely with a hands-on technical CEO. Language and communication quality are a top priority. What We Value Most Quality and communication over headcount. We need someone who is proactive, visible, and consistently productive — someone whose daily output we can see and rely on.
