About The Role The Senior Customer Success Manager (Financial Planning) is a critical, high-impact operational role responsible for the end-to-end execution of wealth management strategies, account configurations, and administrative workflow management. Working directly with the Australian financial advising team, this senior professional ensures that client accounts, superannuation structures, and compliant records are meticulously managed and audit-ready. This role requires a highly autonomous, detail-driven expert with extensive experience in the Australian Financial Planning landscape. The ideal candidate is an XPLAN power user who can analyze Records of Advice (ROA), implement complex financial strategies seamlessly, and maintain impeccable tracking accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning Execution & Account Setup Analyse, review, and systematically read through Records of Advice (ROAs) to cross-reference and execute checklist-required financial strategies accurately. Execute the end-to-end setup and administration of client financial accounts, including complex Superannuation funds, investment portfolios, and related accounts. Coordinate financial strategy implementation to ensure full compliance with internal practice standards and Australian regulatory frameworks. Client Onboarding & Engagement Management Manage the formal client onboarding journey, ensuring all initial paperwork, background documentation, and verification requirements are fully met. Prepare, issue, and manage client Terms of Engagement documentation, ensuring tracking logs remain pristine and updated. Serve as a professional, highly reliable operational touchpoint for processing administrative requests and maintaining client database alignment. Data Management, XPLAN & Excel Tracking Maintain absolute data integrity across all core systems, serving as the practice power user for the XPLAN platform. Manage high-volume data entry tasks, ensuring all client information, transaction logs, and asset allocations are fully up-to-date and compliant. Create, update, and manage sophisticated trackers on Excel to monitor internal workflow pipelines, task updates, and compliance milestone completions. Practice Operations & Quality Control Conduct rigorous internal quality checks on files, ensuring all records are comprehensive, highly organized, and fully audit-ready. Flag missing data, information gaps, or compliance inconsistencies in financial documents prior to final strategy execution. Participate in technical assessment evaluations and interview processes to demonstrate mastery of AU financial planning tools and workflows. Qualifications 4-6+ years of dedicated experience within an Australian Financial Planning practice or financial BPO environment, explicitly handling AU superannuation, investments, and wealth administration. Expert-level proficiency and deep hands-on experience utilizing the XPLAN platform for account maintenance, tracking, and execution. Excellent written and verbal AU-English communication skills, with a high degree of professional articulation and executive presentation capability. Exceptional mastery of data entry protocols and Microsoft Excel (including complex trackers, formulas, and data management). Proven ability to work independently, pass rigorous technical assessment checks, and provide highly verifiable professional references.
