Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Online Maths Tutor working US shift timings from 5 AM - 10 AM (PHT). The tutor will conduct live, online mathematics sessions for school-age learners, helping them understand core concepts and apply them to problem-solving activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with learner levels, delivering interactive sessions, explaining topics such as arithmetic and algebra, and providing constructive feedback on student performance. The tutor will also be expected to maintain learner progress records, communicate regularly with learners and guardians as needed, and collaborate with the Codeyoung team to improve teaching materials and methods. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge in Mathematics, including proficiency in Algebra and related school-level topics. Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring, with the ability to manage virtual classrooms and adapt teaching styles to individual learners. Effective Communication skills, including clear explanation of concepts and the ability to engage learners of different ages and backgrounds. Prior experience teaching or mentoring children or teenagers in academic or enrichment programs. Comfort with digital tools and online teaching platforms; reliable internet connection and suitable hardware for virtual sessions. Ability to work flexible hours aligned with US shift timings and maintain punctuality and consistency in scheduling. Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Patience, empathy, and a learner-centric mindset, with a commitment to fostering curiosity and confidence in mathematics. Pay: Php250\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
