Summary The QA Engineer is a highly motivated individual who will help ensure a high level of quality for the CRM, mobile app, add-ins, and Chrome extensions. In this evolving role, you will support both manual and automated testing efforts. You’ll work closely with the QA Engineering Director to develop and maintain test documents, monitor and execute daily test runs, write automation scripts, and report defects. Furthermore, you will help leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to maximize efficiency, expand test coverage, and boost overall productivity. What you’ll be doing: Develop test strategies, plans, test cases, and engineering best practices related to software test engineering. Design and implement Test Automation frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript. Execute a balanced approach of both manual and automated testing across all supported platforms to improve overall quality and test coverage. Leverage AI tools and technologies within day-to-day QA workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. Support data governance and data profiling efforts to ensure data quality and proper metadata documentation for data lineage. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineers to understand requirements, translate them into test cases, and determine product quality goals and measurements. Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues, providing detailed bug reports. Validate collected data from disparate systems and identify edge cases that can potentially break or compromise data quality or integrity. Collaborate with Automation Engineers to understand test case requirements and create comprehensive test automation projects. Write, maintain, and execute QA automation scripts for existing frameworks while independently managing assigned tasks. Qualifications and Requirements: 5+ years of experience in the QA field, with proven experience in QA automation and manual testing methodologies. Demonstrated experience designing and building test automation frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript. Strong exposure to, or experience with, AI tools and technologies utilized to optimize testing workflows (highly beneficial). Experience writing tests and creating collections in Postman. Experience with GitHub. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail. Experience with Jira or other Kanban board-style software. Experience in testing web-based applications. Experience using Chrome DevTools for inspecting browser errors and issues. Prior remote work-from-home experience in a QA role. You have an advantage if you have: 1+ years of current experience with WebdriverIO. Hands-on experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline. Prior work in a SaaS company.
