Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and hands-on DevOps Engineer to help modernize and automate our client's software delivery platform. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to optimize CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and security across their AWS-hosted SaaS platform. Your ultimate goal will be enabling engineering teams to deliver software faster, more reliably, and securely. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git. Infrastructure & Automation: Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructure, environments, and automate provisioning processes. Containerization & Operations: Support containerization and modern deployment practices while managing application configurations, secrets, and environments. Reliability & Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to boost platform reliability. Security & Collaboration: Enhance security practices across pipelines and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build, deployment, and production issues. Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing efficiency in release management, automation, and general operational processes. Desirable: Exposure to Kubernetes or AWS ECS. Experience supporting .NET applications, IIS environments, and CI/CD for .NET. Familiarity with SQL Server or MySQL. Exposure to DevSecOps practices. What Success Looks Like Achieving faster, more secure, and highly reliable software deployments. Significantly reducing manual operational effort through smart automation. Elevating platform stability, monitoring capabilities, and overall engineering productivity. Fostering continuous improvement across the cloud platform and delivery lifecycles. Benefits Work from home Application Question(s): What is your go-to scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automating deployment processes, and what is the last manual process you successfully automated? Our stack includes supporting .NET applications and IIS environments. Have you had any experience managing or setting up CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications? Have you actively built, maintained, and optimized CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git? (Yes / No) Experience: DevOps or Platform Engineering: 3 years (Required) AWS services: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
