This role demands strong storytelling instincts, a deep understanding of e-commerce video trends, and the ability to craft videos that hook and hold attention — with minimal hand-holding. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and creative teams to bring products to life through visual storytelling that drives conversions and builds brand visibility. Primary Responsibilities Edit and produce high-converting video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Transform raw footage and creative briefs into videos that capture and hold attention from first frame to last Craft compelling narratives using motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and effects Optimize videos for platform-specific formats across mobile and desktop Work autonomously — take scripts, clips, and hooks and turn them into polished, attention-grabbing content Highlight key selling points, user testimonials, and product demonstrations through smart editing Stay ahead of trends in video marketing, storytelling, and social media best practices Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and hitting deadlines Qualifications Proven experience as a video editor — ideally in e-commerce, social media marketing, DTC brands, or film Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software Strong understanding of social media ad formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements Ability to edit fast-paced, conversion-optimized content Exceptional storytelling skills — you know how to keep viewers engaged start to finish Experience with motion graphics, text animation, and sound design Ability to work independently and execute on creative direction with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience with A/B testing for video ads and building strong hooks A sharp eye for compelling, scroll-stopping imagery and strong composition Collaborative mindset — excited to work cross-functionally toward shared business goals A hunger to improve, comfort with feedback, and a problem-solver's mentality About Orca Brands Orca Brands is a fast-growing e-commerce company dedicated to building high-quality beauty and wellness products.
