The Role We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Quantity Surveyor with Project Management Experience to support the planning, cost control and delivery of construction and development projects across our UK property portfolio and client projects. This is a fully remote position based in the Philippines supporting a UK property group. All projects, contractors, consultants and clients are based in the United Kingdom. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work UK business hours are essential. You will work closely with our UK-based Construction Director and Site Manager, supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisation, commercial awareness, accurate reporting and proactive project support. You will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Quantity Surveying & Cost Management Prepare, manage and monitor project budgets, cost plans and financial reports Carry out quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuations, cost tracking and variation assessments Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to protect margins and improve profitability Review contractor quotations, tenders and pricing submissions Support procurement of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants Manage and track variations, payments and final accounts Prepare regular commercial reports highlighting costs, risks and opportunities Project Management Support Support construction, refurbishment and development projects from inception through to completion Monitor project progress against budgets, programmes and key milestones Work closely with the Site Manager to monitor progress, quality and health & safety matters Coordinate communication between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants Prepare and maintain project documentation including programmes, tenders, contracts, RAMS, drawings and certificates Identify project risks, delays and issues and provide regular updates to the Construction Director Support improvements to project management systems and processes Assist with implementing technology and AI tools to improve efficiency What We’re Looking For 3+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager within construction, refurbishment or development projects Strong understanding of construction costs, budgets, valuations, variations and contractor management Experience preparing cost reports, reviewing tenders and managing commercial documentation Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and construction information Experience working with contractors, subcontractors and consultants Understanding of UK construction processes preferred Experience with residential refurbishment, residential development or fit-out projects preferred Familiarity with contracts, procurement processes and construction documentation Experience using project management, cost management or construction software Experience using AI tools is an advantage Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Excellent written and spoken English with confidence communicating with UK contractors, consultants and clients Comfortable learning new software and systems Familiarity with project management tools, CRM systems and Google Workspace Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential project, client and financial information Remote Working Requirements Reliable home internet connection Dedicated and quiet workspace Ability to work UK business hours Professional communication and reliable availability during working hours Working Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm UK time (with one-hour break) What We Offer Opportunity to work with an established UK family property group with over 30 years of experience A key role supporting UK construction and development projects Genuine responsibility and involvement from day one Opportunity for professional growth as the business expands Exposure to UK construction processes and projects Compensation £400 per month Independent contractor arrangement.
