What You'll Do • Design, develop, and maintain LLM-based AI agents that support student learning. • Fine-tune language models using MMDC's proprietary academic content, project guides, rubrics, and feedback. • Build and optimize prompt engineering workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. • Work closely with instructional designers and faculty to replicate MMDC's teaching and feedback style. • Continuously improve AI performance using learner feedback, evaluation metrics, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF). • Develop AI guardrails to ensure safe, accurate, and pedagogically appropriate responses. • Maintain documentation, version control, prompts, and training datasets. • Collaborate with Academic, ISD, and Technology teams to integrate AI solutions into MMDC's learning platform. • Stay current with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred). • 2–4 years of software development experience. • At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, or Generative AI applications. • Experience developing AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, or conversational AI solutions is an advantage. • Background in educational technology, intelligent tutoring systems, or AI learning platforms is a plus. • Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in Python . • Experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs , or similar AI frameworks. • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS . • Solid understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and conversational AI. • Knowledge of AI safety, ethical AI practices, and data privacy. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with educators and cross-functional teams. • Passion for leveraging AI to improve education and learner success. • Why Join MMDC? • Work on cutting-edge AI projects with real educational impact. • Collaborate with educators, instructional designers, and technology professionals. • Help shape the future of AI-powered personalized learning. • Be part of an innovative and mission-driven digital education institution.
