Job Description

Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Manila Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Australian Accounting Team Lead Time Zone: AEST / AEDT (Melbourne/Sydney hours) About The Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper, Accounts and Payroll Administrator based in the Philippines to support our Australian clients. This is a remote role suited for a candidate with strong knowledge of Australian accounting practices, particularly in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. You will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and compliance reporting that help keep our clients’ businesses running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Inputting all invoices in MYOB (Debtors \& Creditors) – on daily bases Reconcile bank and credit card accounts with accuracy and efficiency Prepare and process client invoices, bills, and payments Maintain and manage General Ledger accounts Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Process employee payroll, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Superannuation compliance - via MYOB Software (250\+ Fortnightly) Process contractor Payment (200\+ Fortnightly) Assist with BAS (Business Activity Statement) and GST preparation and lodgement Support monthly and annual financial reconciliation processes Keep meticulous records of both business and personal financial transactions Conduct regular self-checks to ensure accuracy and compliance across all entries Producing profit and loss statement for individual clients - Monthly Directly liaising with external accountants on regular bases Checking Compliance of all Staff Chasing debtors on regular bases Skills \& Qualifications Minimum of 5\+ years’ bookkeeping experience , preferably supporting Australian clients Proficiency in Xero , MYOB , and/or QuickBooks Strong understanding of ATO compliance , including STP, Superannuation, BAS, and GST High attention to detail with demonstrated self-checking skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong technical and organisational abilities Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment Ability to anticipate client needs, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines Working Conditions Must have a reliable internet connection , quiet work environment, and own equipment Working hours must align with Australian business hours Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, Teams, Excel, and project/task management systems is a plus Why Join Us?
