This remote contractor role helps serve as a key point of contact between our clients, scoop technicians, and office team across multiple regions. We are looking for someone professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling customer communication across phone, email, text, and social media. Role Overview The Customer Service Specialist will help respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, onboard new clients, assist with scheduling, and support daily service operations. This role also helps track jobs through completion and works with other departments to help ensure a positive customer experience. Because this position often creates the first and last impression for our clients, a professional and friendly communication style is required. Schedule \& Contractor Details This is an independent contractor opportunity with an expected workload of approximately 40 hours per week. The contractor must be available during agreed-upon business coverage windows to support customer calls, messages, scheduling, and service coordination. Specific work methods and task organization will be managed by the contractor, provided service standards, response expectations, and assigned deliverables are met. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls Provide quotes and estimates for potential clients Respond to customer messages through email, text, social media, and other platforms Assist with onboarding new customers Help schedule service jobs as they become available Assist with routing and dispatching daily jobs Track jobs through completion Coordinate with field managers, team leaders, and office staff Assist with customer billing support when needed Help resolve customer questions and service concerns in a professional manner Maintain accurate notes and updates in company systems Requirements Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience Excellent phone communication skills Strong written communication skills Typing speed of at least 50 WPM Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment Comfortable using online systems, email, messaging tools, and customer platforms Strong attention to detail Professional, friendly, and dependable Background check required Preferred Qualifications Experience handling high-volume calls, texts, or customer messages Experience using CRM or scheduling systems Experience with outbound calling Experience using Microsoft Outlook Experience using Facebook Messenger or other social media messaging platforms Experience supporting remote teams or field service operations How To Apply Please apply with your resume and a brief summary of your customer service experience.
