Revenue Cycle Specialist (Home Health / Hospice) – Pre-Billing Expert We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Home Health and/or Hospice team. This is a critical role in protecting revenue integrity, ensuring clean claim submission, and preventing denials before they happen. If you thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and have a sharp eye for billing accuracy, this role is for you. Pre-billing experience is REQUIRED and NON-NEGOTIABLE. We need someone who doesn’t just process claims—but ensures they are right the first time. What You’ll DoPre-Billing Excellence (Core Responsibility) Perform thorough pre-bill audits for Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial claims Ensure complete, accurate, and compliant documentation before claims submission Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies prior to billing Validate clinical documentation alignment with reimbursement requirements Apply payer-specific rules and regulatory guidelines with precision Maintain a strong “clean claim first-pass” process through rigorous pre-billing controls Accounts Receivable & Denial Management Monitor AR to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement Analyze denied, rejected, and underpaid claims for resolution Prepare high-quality appeal documentation supported by strong evidence Identify denial trends and proactively recommend prevention strategies Reconcile payments and ensure accurate posting Follow up consistently with payers on outstanding balances and claim status Compliance & Continuous Improvement Stay current on Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial billing regulations Partner with clinical, billing, and operations teams to improve documentation quality Support internal audits and compliance initiatives Drive process improvements that reduce errors and strengthen revenue cycle performance What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years experience in Home Health Revenue Cycle Management Mandatory hands-on pre-billing experience Strong background in Home Health and/or Hospice billing workflows Experience with EHR/EMR systems such as Kinnser, KanTime, or Alora Plus Familiarity with clearinghouse platforms such as Waystar or Inovalon Strong knowledge of: Insurance claims processing Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial billing Healthcare compliance and regulatory standards Proven Experience In Denial management and resolution Appeals preparation and submission Payment posting and reconciliation High-accuracy claims review and validation Key Competencies Exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills A strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement Why Join Cliniqon?
