Key Responsibilities The primary role of the BI Developer is to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that can help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives. This is done by: Collecting and analysing data from various sources, such as databases, web services, API endpoints, etc. Creating and maintaining data warehouse, data lakes, and other data repositories. Developing and testing data models, queries, reports, dashboards, and other visualisation tools. Implementing and optimising data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process. Applying data quality, security, and governance standards and best practices. Perform data cleansing. Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations. Maintain the existing in-house reporting platform using SQL Server Stored Procedures, and Microsoft Excel. Create ad-hoc reports from either transactional or analytics database in Excel format. Ability to understand requirements and metrics required by Executive members and various stakeholders. Maintain and grow client’s data warehouse. Migrate existing in-house reporting to data warehouse. Understand client's transactional database, and perform data cleans if required What We're Looking For Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field Proven experience in data analysis, data warehousing, data modelling, and data visualisation Strong proficiency in SQL and stored procedures within Microsoft SQL Server Hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Azure SQL Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and maintain BI solutions aligned with business requirements Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, stakeholders, and fellow developers
