About The Role We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer for a 6+ month contract engagement starting immediately. In this role, you will design, deploy, and scale critical infrastructure and lead-generation workflows. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in workflow orchestration, cloud infrastructure, web scraping, and API integrations. Key Responsibilities Migrate existing n8n cloud workflows to a self-hosted environment on RepoCloud.io configured with autoscaling capabilities. Scale and expand existing social media posting/engagement automations across multiple platforms to support higher throughput and reliability. Build end-to-end outbound email automation workflows leveraging Apify.com for web scraping/lead extraction and the Apollo.com API for prospect enrichment based on social engagement signals. Ensure robust error handling, monitoring, and scaling across all self-hosted and cloud-based workflow systems. Requirements Expert-level mastery of n8n (both Cloud and Self-Hosted setups). Demonstrated experience with Docker, server management, and deploying autoscaling infrastructure on platforms like RepoCloud.io or similar PaaS/IaaS alternatives. Hands-on experience using Apify.com (or similar actors/scrapers) for data extraction and automation. Proficient in working with RESTful APIs, specifically the Apollo.com API and major social media platform APIs (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Meta). Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for custom nodes, data transformation, and advanced workflow logic within n8n. Nice to Have (Optional): Experience with relational or vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Supabase, Pinecone, or Redis) for caching, state management, or queueing within n8n workflows. Familiarity with cold email deliverability best practices, email warmup protocols, and technical setups (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, custom tracking domains) across tools like Instantly, Smartlead, or Lemlist. Experience maintaining n8n workflow JSONs in Git repositories or deploying workflow changes via automated CI/CD pipelines.
