WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR POWER BI DEVELOPER Company: Global Quality Partners (GQP) Location: Metro Manila Global Quality Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This is a hands-on senior position for a professional who can transform complex operational and business data into reliable dashboards, scalable data models, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and technical teams to develop reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. Experience working with manufacturing data and processes is highly desirable. Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry will be considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, deploy, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical solutions. Translate business requirements and operational challenges into scalable technical and reporting solutions. Build and optimize enterprise-grade semantic models using appropriate fact and dimension structures. Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated tables, calculation groups, and time-intelligence solutions. Use Power Query and SQL to extract, clean, transform, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources. Develop dashboards for executive, financial, operational, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and performance reporting. Optimize report performance, data models, refresh processes, and query execution. Implement appropriate data security, including row-level security, role-based access, and workspace permissions. Conduct data reconciliation, validation, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports. Work directly with stakeholders to define KPIs, clarify reporting requirements, and present analytical findings. Document data sources, calculations, business rules, report specifications, and technical processes. Troubleshoot data-refresh, gateway, connectivity, security, and dashboard-performance issues. Establish and promote Power BI development, visualization, governance, and deployment standards. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to analysts and junior developers when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. At least five years of relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data development. At least three years of advanced, hands-on experience developing production-level Power BI solutions. Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and semantic data modeling. Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, common table expressions, window functions, views, stored procedures, and query optimization. Strong understanding of star schemas, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and reporting architecture. Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources. Experience implementing row-level security, data-access controls, scheduled refreshes, gateways, and deployment processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing business intelligence solutions for manufacturing operations. Experience with chemical manufacturing, process manufacturing, industrial production, or highly regulated environments. Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs such as production yield, downtime, throughput, scrap, quality, inventory, maintenance, safety, and overall equipment effectiveness. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, OneLake, or related Microsoft data technologies. Experience with ERP, manufacturing execution, quality-management, laboratory, supply-chain, or enterprise financial systems. Familiarity with DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Power BI deployment pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps. Experience establishing BI governance, development standards, or reusable reporting frameworks. Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Fabric Analytics Engineer, or related certification.
