Job Title: Remote Clinical Nurse Specialist Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home) Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Schedule 40 hours per week (Standard Business Hours) About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Memory Care Team. In this fully remote capacity, you will play a critical role in managing patient follow-up for novel Alzheimer's therapies. You will act as the clinical liaison between our team, referring physicians, and patients to ensure compliance with treatment protocols, MRI scheduling, and documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities Patient Coordination: Manage the tracking of all active Kisunla/Leqembi patients, ensuring timely follow-up on pending Clinical Record (CR) items and missing documentation. Documentation Management: Request and gather missing documentation for CR approval directly from providers via fax, phone, or email. Collaborate with the Intake team to secure CMS registry info and PET/MRI records. Clinical Reporting: Review Leqembi Patient Reports and coordinate with referring offices to schedule necessary MRIs at appropriate intervals. Report side effects and reportable events to the proper clinical teams. Communication: Respond promptly to clinical emails regarding urgent CRs for Leqembi/Kisunla patients. Patient Engagement: Participate in the Leqembi patient enhancement program, which includes completing adherence calls with patients according to established guidelines. Workflow Compliance: Execute all duties within specified time frames to maintain the integrity of the patient enhancement program workflow. Qualifications Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license; Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification preferred. Experience: Strong background in Neurology, Geriatrics, or Memory Care is highly desirable. Skills Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), and the ability to manage multiple patient files simultaneously.
