Position Overview The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, costing, and positioning end-to-end technical, engineering, and infrastructure solutions that support business growth. This role serves as the technical and commercial lead during the sales cycle, translating complex customer requirements into scalable, profitable, and differentiated offerings. The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, and Delivery teams to develop winning proposals, business cases, and implementation strategies that address both business and technical objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Design & Technical Consulting Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, operational challenges, and infrastructure needs. Conduct technical discovery sessions, site assessments, workshops, and solution architecture discussions. Design end-to-end technical and infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements. Develop architectural blueprints, deployment models, operational support structures, and managed service frameworks. 2. Commercial & Pricing Development Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to build accurate costing models, Bill of Materials (BOM), and pricing strategies. Prepare comprehensive commercial proposals that strike the right balance between market competitiveness, profitability, and delivery feasibility. Lead bid management activities, Technical/Commercial RFP responses, and executive-level customer presentations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Experience: 7–10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, technical consulting, or infrastructure services. Track Record: Proven experience designing scalable technical or infrastructure solutions and supporting enterprise, commercial, public sector, or large-scale project engagements. Skills Strong background in technical proposal development, financial modeling/cost estimation, bid management, and executive stakeholder communication.
