Short-Form Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator/VA Remote | Monday–Friday | Starting Salary: ₱14,600 PHP/month MK Homeplex Properties is hiring a reliable Short-Form Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator/VA to produce engaging content for our vacation rental properties in Texas. This role is best suited for someone who can edit short-form videos efficiently, follow instructions carefully, communicate consistently, and complete a short screening process before being considered for an interview. What You’ll Do Create and edit short-form videos, typically 20–30 seconds long Turn provided property photos and video footage into engaging social media content Create strong hooks, text overlays, transitions, and calls to action Showcase bedrooms, kitchens, living spaces, amenities, attractions, and other important property features Create different video concepts instead of repeating the same editing style Write or assist with captions and hashtags when needed Research current social media trends and content ideas Make revisions based on feedback Keep video files and projects organized Help suggest new content ideas and shot requests when additional footage is needed Assist with basic virtual assistant tasks when assigned We’re Looking For Someone Who Has recent experience editing short-form social media content Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts Can create content designed to grab attention within the first few seconds Has good attention to detail Can follow instructions while also being creative Communicates consistently and responds to feedback well Can work independently and meet deadlines Is comfortable creating content primarily for a U.S. audience Has reliable internet and the proper device and software needed to complete the work Can manage files, follow naming instructions, and stay organized Editing Tools Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar editing software is welcome. You must have access to a device that allows you to properly edit, download, upload, organize, and share company content and project files. Screening Process Because we expect a high number of applications, the process will be selective: Applications will be checked for the required word, complete answers, portfolio links, availability, and salary confirmation. Applications that pass the initial review will be evaluated based on portfolio quality, editing ability, communication, and attention to detail. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a brief screening task. Selected candidates will complete a short interview.
