Key Responsibilities Own and execute comprehensive testing across complex SaaS applications, with a strong focus on billing, taxation, security services, and AI-enabled functionality . Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated test frameworks and test suites , increasing automation coverage and reducing manual testing effort. Execute functional, component, system, integration, regression, API, security, performance, and end-to-end testing. Test integrations with tax engines and taxation services , ensuring accuracy across different transaction and billing scenarios. AI tools and technologies to improve QA productivity, test creation, automation, defect investigation, and overall testing efficiency. Proactively identify quality risks, gaps in test coverage, and opportunities to improve QA processes and automation. Investigate complex defects, perform root cause analysis, and partner closely with Engineering to drive issues through resolution. Identify and escalate risks that could impact product quality or delivery timelines. Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, automation suites, reports, and defect documentation. Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, business analysts, senior managers, and business users throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications 5+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience , preferably within complex SaaS, FinTech, billing, payments, or financial technology environments. Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests and automation frameworks . Understanding of testing complex billing, financial, taxation, or transaction-based systems. Experience testing integrations with tax engines or tax calculation platforms is highly preferred. Experience with security testing and testing security-sensitive functionality and integrations. Practical experience using AI tools as part of software testing, automation, development, or QA workflows. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and defect-tracking systems such as JIRA. Knowledge of Selenium and the Spock Framework is an advantage. Extensive experience with defect triage, escalation management, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation. Availability to work within the United States Mountain Time (MT) time zone.
