Role Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision making processes within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and scenarios for decision-making purposes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts and conducting periodic audits. Provide explanations and interpretations of financial results to management and other departments as needed. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyse trends and drivers of revenue, expenses, and profitability to support strategic initiatives. Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses to address specific business questions and challenges. Assist in assessing financial risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments that may impact the company's financial position. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the fintech payments industry or a related field. Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications; experience with ERP systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
