Role : Workday HR Administrator Work Arrangement : Fully Remote Shift : Night Shift Contract Duration : Through December 31, 2026 Overview The Workday HR Administrator will be primarily responsible for configuration, testing, integration, deployment, and support of solutions within Workday HCM and related domains in Compensation, Payroll, Scheduling, Time Tracking, Absence and Recruitment. The role requires having a combination of configuration experience and deep functional understanding to effectively create solutions and maintain HR processes running at an optimum level within the Workday system. The Workday HR Administrator will work on configurations, business process, coordinating with stakeholders and third-party vendors, handling system configuration, testing, and providing user support to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and business process efficiency. Requirements Maintain and configure Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Scheduling, Time Tracking, Absence and Recruitment and setup Manager and Employee Self Service. Build and update business processes, condition rules, eligibility policies, calculated fields and security roles to meet confidentiality and segregation of duties requirements with accompanying documentation. Conduct research and analysis for system design and improvements and enhance system performance primarily on Core HCM, Payroll, Scheduling, Time Tracking, Absence and Recruitment. Some areas that will also require support are Talent, Benefits, Security, Integration, and Learning. Perform Bi-Annual Workday release reviews, assessment of feature impacts and implement updates in production tenant. Perform various levels of testing, including unit, system integration, and regression testing with accompanying documentation. Create and maintain technical documentation for all Workday configurations and processes. Optimize workflows to ensure compliance with best practices. Analyze business requirements and business rules and translate them to technical specifications and design solutions. Configure and optimize Workday to align with business requirements, including managing periodic releases and system improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and with third-party systems to gather and analyze requirements. Monitor application performance and optimize configurations for improved efficiency. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects related to HR processes and integrations. Lead/Participate in activities related to projects, enhancements, system upgrades and troubleshooting incidents. Implement end-to-end security solutions and validate data throughout the testing and deployment phases. Provide end-user support through tickets or live troubleshooting. Conduct training on Workday functionalities, as necessary. Qualifications BS in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field or experience. At least 5 years of experience in Workday HCM projects and support. Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, and data structures. Experience with various Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Scheduling, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, Benefits and Recruitment. Experience in setting up Self Service for Manager and Employee is a plus. Knowledgeable and able to interpret HR policies into Workday configuration. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Workday certifications are a plus.
