Accountant (Philippines) Location: Fully remote — work from anywhere in the Philippines We are a group running several companies and a portfolio of AI software products. We are looking for an accountant who keeps the group's finances clean and current inside our own accounting app, and who uses AI (Claude) every day to match and make sense of the numbers rather than just type them in. What You Will Do Match and reconcile everything: bank statements, payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, app-store payouts), invoices, receipts and supplier bills, across several companies and currencies. Keep the books current in our accounting app — categorise transactions, chase missing documents, and clear anything that does not tie out. Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow reports, and explain the movements to management in plain language. Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, spreadsheet AI) as your daily working method — matching transactions, categorising, summarising long statements, drafting reports, and cutting out the repetitive parts of the month-end. Keep supplier, contractor and staff payments on schedule and correctly recorded. Improve the process: where AI or automation can remove manual work, propose it and set it up. What we are looking for Degree in accountancy or finance, or equivalent hands-on experience. A CPA licence is not required. 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally handling more than one company at a time. Strong at reconciliation. You are the kind of person who cannot leave an unmatched line alone. Hands-on with a cloud accounting system (Xero or similar) and strong in Google Sheets / Excel. Demonstrated use of AI tools in real finance work. We will ask for concrete examples. Comfortable learning an in-house app and working in it every day. Clear written and spoken English, and able to manage your own day. There is no office. Nice to have (not required) SaaS or subscription revenue experience (Stripe, app-store payouts, refunds, chargebacks, deferred revenue). Multi-entity and multi-currency bookkeeping or consolidation.
