Agentic & Full-Stack SaaS Product Development Contract · Full-Time · Remote (Philippines) | 8:30am–5:30pm EST availability | 40+ hrs/week About The Role The Church Online (TCO) is building a portfolio of modern, AI-native SaaS products. We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who develops with AI agents at the center of the workflow — using tools such as Anthropic Claude, Cursor, and Codex — to design, build, and ship production web applications quickly and to a high standard. This is hands-on product engineering across a unified TypeScript and AWS stack. You will work on real, in-flight products spanning AI-driven automation, multi-tenant SaaS, commerce, and no-code tools. Across all of them, the architecture is the same — Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS — so depth in that stack matters more than breadth across many. You will join codebases that were architected by their owner, so the ability to onboard quickly into an existing system, work independently inside a documentation-first process, and ship reliable features with minimal oversight is essential. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work is required. What You’ll Work On Our products share one technical spine and each adds its own domain. You should expect to move across work such as: AI-powered platforms — building LLM-driven pipelines and automation (ingestion, classification, summarization, content generation) with sensible human-in-the-loop controls. Multi-tenant SaaS — designing and operating platforms that serve many tenants with isolated data, configurable branding, and subscription billing. Commerce & integrations — connecting applications to third-party services such as payments, media, shipping/fulfillment, and authentication through clean abstraction layers. No-code tools & CMS — creating builders, content management, and admin interfaces that let non-technical users manage and publish their own content. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain production web applications using AI-assisted development workflows as a core part of the delivery process. Leverage Anthropic Claude, Cursor, Codex, and related tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality. Build AI-powered and agentic features — LLM-driven pipelines, automation, and autonomous application behavior. Architect and implement scalable frontend and backend solutions across our Next.js / TypeScript / PostgreSQL stack. Develop and operate multi-tenant SaaS architecture with isolated tenant data, configurable branding, and subscription billing. Integrate LLM APIs, third-party services (payments, shipping, media, auth), and where relevant vector databases and retrieval systems. Work within a documentation-first process — contributing to and building from Source-of-Truth documents (PRD, architecture, schema, API spec, decision log, guardrails). Create reusable patterns and AI-assisted engineering processes that improve delivery speed and consistency. Deploy and maintain applications on AWS (ECS Fargate, Amplify, RDS, CloudFront, CDK) with CI/CD pipelines. Evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies, and document architectures, workflows, and prompts. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven record of building and deploying modern web applications. Hands-on experience using Anthropic Claude, Cursor, Codex, or comparable AI-assisted development environments as part of real shipped work. Strong, demonstrated experience with our core stack: TypeScript (strict) and JavaScript Next.js (App Router) and React Node.js backends (e.g. Fastify, or Next.js full-stack APIs) PostgreSQL, including an ORM such as Prisma REST APIs (GraphQL a plus) Tailwind CSS Solid understanding of agentic development concepts and AI-driven workflows. Experience integrating LLM APIs and AI services into production applications. Hands-on AWS experience deploying and running web applications (ECS Fargate, Amplify, RDS, S3, CloudFront, or comparable). Strong grasp of software architecture, testing, debugging, and deployment practices. Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines. Ability to onboard quickly into an existing codebase and work independently across multiple projects. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience building multi-tenant SaaS with tenant isolation, per-tenant branding, and subscription billing. E-commerce / payments — Stripe or Square checkout, plus shipping/fulfillment integrations (Shippo, EasyPost). AWS media / streaming — MediaLive, MediaPackage, LL-HLS, CloudFront, or comparable live-video infrastructure. No-code / CMS / builder UX — page builders, template/theming systems, and admin tooling designed for non-technical users. AI / data systems — RAG, vector databases, content-ingestion pipelines, and AI evaluation, prompt engineering, or observability tooling. MCP (Model Context Protocol) — implementations and AI tool integrations. Infrastructure-as-Code with AWS CDK (TypeScript). pnpm monorepo experience. Startup or fast-paced product development experience. Portfolio Requirements (Required) Applicants must provide a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. We weight this heavily — we want to see what you have actually built and shipped with AI as part of the process. Please show evidence of: AI-assisted software development — applications built using Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar. Production web applications built on a modern stack (ideally Next.js / TypeScript / Node / PostgreSQL). At least one agentic workflow or AI-powered automation system. Deployed applications, GitHub repositories, case studies, technical writeups, or demos.
