Role: Figma Designer Priority Location: South Africa and Philippines Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri) EU aligned Salary Range: $1,500 - $2,300 USD ($) per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.) Type of contract: Independent Contractor Type of job: Remote About The Company This role sits within a fast-growing, founder-led e-commerce group based in Scandinavia. The Business Operates Multiple Direct-to-consumer Brands, Including A leading pet supplements brand A sleep and recovery brand Key Responsibilities Create high-quality designs in Figma across a variety of use cases, including: Website sections and landing pages Product pages and galleries Email marketing assets General brand and marketing visuals Translate business and marketing needs into clean, effective designs Support ongoing design needs across multiple e-commerce brands Help manage tasks, timelines, and priorities (light project coordination) Collaborate with a small team of designers to maintain quality and consistency (Nice to have) Assist with implementation in WordPress/Elementor Required Qualifications & Skills Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, relevant design work (primary evaluation criteria) Advanced proficiency in Figma Experience working with e-commerce brands Highly organized, structured, and reliable Strong accountability and ownership mindset Ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience with WordPress and Elementor Experience designing email marketing assets What Success Looks Like Consistently delivering high-quality, conversion-focused design work Demonstrating reliability, responsiveness, and strong execution Effectively managing tasks and contributing to team efficiency Aligning with a high internal standard for design quality Additional Notes Candidates currently employed are preferred This is a non-client-facing role Portfolio quality is the most important factor in the hiring decision
