We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Property Management Trust Accounting professional to join our team in Australia. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in trust accounting within the property management sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to trust accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards. You will play a critical role in overseeing property owners’ funds, facilitating timely reconciliations, and preparing detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day operations of trust accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular reconciliations of financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide financial updates. Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with trust accounting standards and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the trust accounting function and contribute to their implementation. Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits related to trust accounts, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Qualifications Proven experience in trust accounting within the property management industry in Australia. Minimum of 1-3 years' experience as a Trust Accounting. Proficiency in accounting software commonly used in property management (e.g., MYOB, Xero, Property Me). Strong knowledge of trust accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
