Position Title: Training \& Business Development Coordinator Classification: Independent Consultant / Virtual Assistant (Project-Based / Retainer) Reporting To: Chief Learning Officer / Founder Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 to 2 days on-site; remote on other days) Monthly Rate: Depending on experience Effective Date: To be determined upon engagement Role Overview The Training \& Business Development Coordinator is a consultant who supports IKON Business Consultancy Services in the end-to-end coordination of training programs and the active development of new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is comfortable managing both operational logistics and client-facing outreach. Key Responsibilities A. Training Coordination \& Scheduling Coordinate and confirm training schedules with clients, participants, and venue/logistics partners Manage participant registration, confirmations, and pre-training communications Prepare and send out training invitations, reminders, and post-training follow-up messages Coordinate materials preparation, room setup requirements, and trainer support needs Maintain an updated training calendar and monitor program timelines B. Client Follow-Up \& Account Coordination Follow up with existing clients on pending proposals, program renewals, and satisfaction feedback Collect and organize post-training testimonials and evaluation data Assist in preparing client reports, training documentation, and certificates Maintain accurate client records and contact databases C. Business Development \& Marketing Outreach Identify and research prospective client companies across industries for outreach targeting Initiate first-contact outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels on behalf of IKON Assist in drafting proposals, capability presentations, and service offerings Coordinate promotional campaigns including social media scheduling, email blasts, and event promotions for open-enrollment programs Support the CLO in preparing for business development meetings and pitches Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in any of the following areas: Training coordination or L\&D administration Business development, sales coordination, or client relations Marketing coordination or corporate communications Skills \& Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace Comfortable with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook) for professional outreach High level of initiative, follow-through, and attention to detail Professional demeanor in client-facing interactions Experience with Canva or basic graphic tools is an advantage WORK ARRANGEMENT \& ENGAGEMENT TERMS This is a consultant engagement — not a regular employment position The consultant will not be entitled to statutory employee benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th month pay, or leave credits) Engagement may be structured as a monthly retainer or project-based, subject to mutual agreement On-site presence required 2–3 days per week for coordination, meetings, and program facilitation support Remote work is allowed for marketing, outreach, follow-up, and administrative tasks The consultant is expected to maintain professional confidentiality of all client and company information Pay: Php20,000\.00 - Php30,000\.00 per month Benefits Flextime Work from home Application Question(s): Do you have available WFH set up?
