(6-Month Contract) Job Type: Contract / Temporary (6 Months) Location: BGC, Taguig About The Role We are currently sourcing for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Privacy Technology Analyst for a 6-month contract with our client. In this role, you will bridge the gap between the client's Legal and IT departments to ensure that data privacy regulations and requirements are seamlessly integrated into their technology systems. If you have a background in IT, an eye for software code, and a passion for building "privacy-by-design" solutions, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities System Integration: Collaborate closely with legal and IT teams to integrate privacy requirements into both existing and new technology systems. Technical Validation: Review technical systems to validate that controls implemented in response to privacy requirements are operating effectively. Impact Assessments: Evaluate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for new and existing technologies to develop privacy-by-design solutions that future-proof the organization. Process Improvement: Support internal privacy operations, proactively identifying and implementing methods to drive operational efficiencies. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including processes and procedures for privacy operations and due diligence, ensuring all practices and records are in sync. Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Experience: At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology or a related industry. Technical Literacy: Strong ability to read and understand software code. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills. Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications (A Plus) Development Background: Prior work experience as a Software Developer. Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of regulatory environments and data privacy regulations (e.g., SOX, PCI, HIPAA, PII). Certifications: Active privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPT, or CIPM.
