What You'll Do (The Content Output) You will be responsible for managing and executing our monthly content engine, which includes: 1. Long-Form Content (3–4 Episodes/Month) Edit long-form video content such as podcast episodes, YouTube videos, and recorded speaking engagements from Virtua leadership. Clean up pacing/flow, remove filler words, and enhance overall storytelling. Add intros, outros, and polished visual elements. 2. Short-Form Clips from Long-Form (approx. 12 Clips/Month) Extract 3 high-impact short-form clips from each long-form video (insights, highlights, thought-leadership snippets). Note: We use OpusClip to help identify moments, but you will refine and finalize them. Optimize and edit vertical videos with engaging captions and text highlights for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. 3. Founder Content (12–16 Clips/Month) Edit 3–4 talking-head short-form videos (60–90 seconds) per week recorded directly by our founder. Tighten pacing, add captions/visual emphasis, and enhance engagement for business audiences. What We Are Looking For Required Skills & Experience: Software Mastery: Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Format Expertise: Proven experience editing podcasts, interviews, or educational/talking-head content. Podcast Editing Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specifically editing podcasts or interview content. Social Savvy: Strong experience creating vertical short-form videos with a deep understanding of pacing and storytelling. Short-Form Video Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience creating vertical short-form videos for social media platforms. Professional Experience: 3-4 years of video editing experience in a professional capacity. Nice-to-Haves: Familiarity with AI assistance tools like OpusClip . Basic motion graphics or animation skills. Experience editing specifically for LinkedIn or business/creator thought-leadership brands. The Ideal Candidate: You aren't just a "button-pusher" or a cutter. You are a visual storyteller who knows what makes a clip thumb-stopping within the first 3 seconds. You have an eye for clean, professional aesthetics and can systematically manage a recurring weekly production schedule.
