About The Role - Hyvid Pty Ltd is seeking an exceptional AI Lead Developer to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of practical, cutting-edge AI solutions that support our internal operations, power innovative products, and deliver meaningful value to our clients. - We are looking for a curious, hands-on, and solutions-driven AI Lead Developer whose role sits at the intersection of applied AI development, solution prototyping, client engagement, and automation design. You will play a key role in shaping Hyvid's AI capability by designing, building, and improving AI-powered solutions across a variety of use cases. - The successful candidate will work on solutions including process automation, intelligent workflows, low-code integrations, conversational AI, and voice-enabled AI applications. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys experimenting with emerging tools, learning quickly, and turning ideas into working solutions that create real value for clients and internal teams. What you'll be doing: - AI Strategy & Roadmap - Define, maintain, and continuously improve Hyvid's internal AI agent roadmap, identifying high-value automation and augmentation opportunities across BPO operations, professional services, and client delivery. - Stay current with emerging AI tools, models, platforms, and agent frameworks, and assess their relevance for practical use across internal and client-facing solutions. - Translate business problems, customer needs, and operational challenges into practical AI solution concepts, with clear value, feasibility, ROI, and implementation considerations. - Ensure AI-powered systems are designed with scalability, reliability, usability, and security in mind. - Work with leadership to prioritise AI initiatives, including build-versus-buy decisions, proof-of-concept opportunities, MVP development, and production-ready solutions. - Customer Discovery & AI Advisory - Support AI advisory engagements by helping clients and internal stakeholders conceptualise, prioritise, and design AI-first solutions aligned with business goals. - Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder conversations to understand pain points, current workflows, desired outcomes, and areas where AI can create measurable value. - Identify user challenges, workflow gaps, customer needs, and white space opportunities across different industries and business functions. - Help assess and prioritise a balanced portfolio of near-term customer requirements, practical automation opportunities, and longer-term AI capability bets. - Champion AI-native ways of working, including effective prompting, evaluation, applied AI artifacts, rapid prototyping, and experimentation. - Guide clients and internal stakeholders in understanding how AI solutions can be applied responsibly, practically, and effectively within existing workflows. - Agent Design & Applied AI Development - Lead the design, prototyping, and iterative development of AI agents, copilots, and automation solutions, including scoping, prompt engineering, workflow design, testing, and continuous improvement. - Design, build, and rapidly prototype AI-enabled solutions, including workflow automations, process improvements, data-driven tools, and client-facing AI applications. - Develop integrated AI workflows using code, APIs, and no-code or low-code platforms such as n8n, Make.com, Power Automate, or similar tools. - Create, configure, and maintain multi-modal conversational AI agents for use cases such as virtual reception, multilingual support, customer service workflows, internal operations, and role-specific copilots. - Collaborate with technical teams, internal stakeholders, or external developers to deliver scalable, production-ready AI tools. - Maintain and evolve existing AI agents and copilots, including recruitment agents, talent support tools, and role-specific AI assistants, based on performance data, business needs, and user feedback. - Document AI solutions clearly for internal adoption, client-facing use, repeatability, and ongoing knowledge sharing. - Client Demonstration & Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a subject matter expert in presenting AI solutions, working prototypes, and AI-enabled workflows to clients, internal teams, and key stakeholders. - Clearly explain how each solution works, the problem it addresses, and the practical value it can deliver. - Support live demonstrations, walkthroughs, discovery sessions, and AI Lab presentations in a confident, engaging, and easy-to-understand manner. - Gather feedback from client and stakeholder discussions and translate this into improved solution design, functionality, user experience, and implementation planning. - Internal Innovation & Collaboration - Work closely with the AI Lab, leadership, and broader internal teams to explore new ideas, validate concepts, and run internal experiments. - Contribute to the development of internal AI products, reusable solution templates, scalable assets, and best-practice documentation. - Share learnings, patterns, and reusable approaches across teams to support consistent AI adoption and practical innovation. - Support continuous improvement of Hyvid's AI capability by identifying lessons learned from client work, internal pilots, and emerging technology trends. - Contribute to internal product development and reusable AI solution assets when not actively supporting client delivery. What we're looking for - Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in AI/ML development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects - Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other leading AI/ML frameworks - Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning - Hands-on experience in deploying AI models in production environments and ensuring scalability - Solid grasp of data engineering and data science principles, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring cross-functional teams - Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest AI/ML research and trends, and a desire to continuously learn and innovate
