Job Description

Schedule Must be comfortable working within PST/EST business hours. Overview: We are seeking a sharp, highly organized Hybrid Account Manager / Project Manager to join a fast-growing marketing agency. In this role, you will be the operational "Quarterback"—serving as the primary, trusted point of contact for our clients while translating their high-level business goals into clear, actionable tasks for our internal team. This is a pure delivery and retention role, not sales . Your mission is to drive flawless project execution, maintain exceptional client communication, and ensure strategic alignment across the board. As an agile agency, we thrive on adaptability; we are looking for a collaborative team player who is excited to roll up their sleeves and wear multiple hats as we scale. Key Responsibilities The Client Face: Act as the primary liaison for our two new flagship accounts, managing expectations, hosting weekly/bi-weekly syncs, and delivering performance updates. The Project QB: Own the project lifecycle. Translate client requests into clear deliverables, set timelines, assign tasks to the creative/technical teams, and ensure deadlines are met. Bridge the Gap: Use your marketing knowledge to translate complex campaign data into clear, high-level insights the client can easily understand. Onboarding Execution: Smoothly transition new clients into the agency ecosystem, ensuring all initial assets, brand guidelines, and access permissions (ad accounts, Google Analytics, etc.) are secured efficiently. Proactive Problem Solving: Monitor project timelines weekly; proactively identify potential bottlenecks or scope creep, and address them with the internal team before they impact the client. Reporting \& Insights: Collaborate with the media buying/marketing team to compile monthly or bi-weekly performance reports, translating raw data into clear, high-level narratives for the client. Meeting Documentation: Lead client status calls, document key decisions and action items, and immediately turn them into organized tasks for the team. Quality Assurance (QA): Review deliverables (ad copy, creative assets, landing pages) before they go to the client to ensure they align with the brief and meet agency standards. Skills and Qualifications: The Hybrid Sweet Spot: Proven experience managing both client relationships (Account Management) and internal workflows (Project Management). Baseline Marketing Literacy: You don't need to build the campaigns, but you must speak the language. You should confidently know: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in performance marketing (e.g., ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPC, Conversion Rates). What a marketing pixel is (Meta, Google, etc.), its purpose, and the general process of how a development team installs it. Tool Proficiency: Experience with PM tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com) and communication tools (Slack, Zoom). Adaptability: A startup mindset. You are comfortable with ambiguity and happy to assist with ad-hoc agency tasks as we scale. Benefits Work from home Application Question(s): Are you comfortable independently explaining performance marketing metrics like ROAS, CPA, and CTR to a client? Which project management tool (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com) are you most proficient in, and how have you used it to manage creative teams? Are you fully available during standard PST or EST business hours? How many hours per week are you currently looking for / available to dedicate to this fractional role? : In your own words, how would you explain the purpose of a Meta or Google tracking pixel to a non-technical client? Give a brief example of a time you had to handle "scope creep" (a client asking for work outside the original agreement) without hurting the relationship. Work Location: Remote
