Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Video Surveillance Virtual Assistant (VA) with a background in Maritime Engineering or shipboard operations. This role involves monitoring live video feeds, observing key areas of the vessel, identifying potential hazards, and assisting in maintaining safety and security standards onboard. Key Responsibilities Monitor live video surveillance systems and key operational areas of the ship. Observe vessel activities and identify potential safety, security, or operational concerns. Detect hazards, unusual activities, or emergency situations and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate logs and incident reports. Utilize maritime knowledge to recognize shipboard risks, unsafe practices, and operational irregularities. Support the client with additional tasks related to vessel monitoring and operations as needed and mutually agreed upon. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Maritime Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related maritime field. Previous shipboard experience or familiarity with vessel operations and safety procedures. Strong understanding of maritime safety regulations and best practices. Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and make sound observations in a fast-paced environment. Pay: Php200\.00 - Php250\.00 per hour Benefits Work from home Application Question(s): What was the last position you had onboard? This role is intended to be a long-term position, and we generally prefer candidates who no longer have plans to return to sea duty. We offer a rate of $4 per hour for this position.
