I. JOB DESCRIPTION Field Service Engineers combine engineering principles with medical and biological sciences to design and create equipment, devices, computer systems, and software used in healthcare. Their job is to design instruments, devices, and software used in healthcare; develop new procedures using knowledge from many technical sources; or conduct research needed to solve clinical problems. II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform Repairs, Inspection, Preventive Maintenance, and Calibrations on general-use instrumentation. Provide technical, software and application related support and assistance to clients and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis. Write work reports, parts, lists, and other technical documentation, maintaining current technical necessary records relating to workflow/ assignment status Training customer/clients and other personnel on how to use machines and equipment, safely and effectively Assist in the development, writing, or modification of test procedures. Make recommendations regarding upgrades, service or repairs and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Provide accurate and detailed written reports especially in his or her Service Report Forms. Build a strong customer relationship management strategy to ensure customer satisfaction. Provides immediate assistance to customers and has the ability to resolve issues quickly. III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must be graduate at least 4 years College Graduate in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or physics is required. Associate’s degree in related field with work experience. With licensed in an advantage.
