Position Title: Estimator (Aluminium Cladding) Schedule Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm VIC, AU Time or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PH Time Holiday to follow: VIC, AU Holidays Workdays: Mon - Fri Work Set-up: Work From Home or office. Work Details: Full-time Role Overview This role converts architectural designs and project specifications into precise cost estimates and material take-offs for a premier Victorian construction specialist. You will be collaborating directly with the Australian project team to secure and plan high-end facade projects. Key Responsibilities Analyze Plans: Review architectural drawings, specifications, and engineering documents carefully. Quantify Materials: Conduct accurate take-offs for aluminium cladding and framing components. Calculate Costs: Estimate labor, material, fabrication, transport, and installation expenses. Request Quotes: Source and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Assess Risk: Identify potential project complexities, structural challenges, and cost variations. Collaborate Daily: Coordinate with Australian project managers to align budgets and timelines. Prepare Tenders: Compile detailed, compliant cost proposals for submission to clients. Required Qualifications \& Experience Experience: 2 to 4 years of dedicated estimating experience in aluminium cladding systems. Software Mastery: Proficient in Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, or Excel estimation models. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Australian National Construction Code (NCC). Technical Skills: Proven track record in facade material systems, structural allowances, and waste calculation. Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills for Australian client collaboration. Portfolio Required: Proven experience, as evidenced by a portfolio or similar of previous successful bid projects, is required.
