Job Summary FabFitFun is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will achieve our desired brand aesthetic through high-quality e-commerce and lifestyle imagery retouching, ensuring consistency across all platforms. This position reports to the Director of Production. Key Responsibilities Perform professional post-production retouching across a wide variety of imagery, including blemish removal, masking, color correction, and detail enhancement. Ensure visual consistency and accuracy across all images in accordance with brand guidelines, making any manipulation imperceptible to the viewer. Execute e-commerce product image production tasks, ensuring consistent lighting, color, and cleanliness that reflects the brand aesthetic including accurate color matching across various lifecycle stages of imagery. Prepare and deliver optimized images for e-commerce and non-ecommerce platforms, following established file-naming, server organization, and asset delivery schedules. Utilize AI-powered retouching tools (e.g., smart masking, background replacement, image enhancement) to improve workflow efficiency and output quality. Perform quality control checks on all final images prior to delivery, identifying and flagging potential issues. Maintain an organized digital asset management system from receipt of studio images through to product go-live. Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to refine images based on campaign and page requirements, proactively communicating discrepancies. Maintain high-volume production under tight deadlines while continuously improving retouching workflows. MUST DO: send your resume and portfolio before-and-after retouching samples at ph-recruiting@fabfitfun.com Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional experience in photo retouching, image editing, or e-commerce visual content; high-volume, deadline-driven environments preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (required); experience with batch processing and AI-based editing tools is a plus. Solid knowledge of retouching techniques with a solid foundation in color correction and the ability to make accurate color changes. Eye for color, detail, and visual consistency; ability to retouch without markup using one's own judgment to fit brand aesthetics. Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and troubleshoot technical issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of studio photography, lighting practices, and photographic vocabulary is a plus.
