Job Description

About The Role • We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Technical SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist to join our growth engine. Search has fundamentally changed; users are no longer just clicking links—they are looking for immediate answers from AI engines, virtual assistants, and conversational search platforms. • In this role, you will lead the charge in making sure our clients' brands are structurally optimized for traditional search engines, prominently featured in direct answers (AEO), and consistently cited by Generative AI engines like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity (GEO). You are part data-driven analyst and part technical architect, bridging the gap between deep web development, semantic markup, and the future of digital discovery. Key Responsibilities • Deep Technical SEO Architecture : Lead extensive technical audits focusing on site speed, mobile-first indexation, rendering paths, crawl budgets, and Core Web Vitals (specifically managing Interaction to Next Paint - INP). Collaborate directly with web developers to implement programmatic fixes. • Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Structure site content to win "Position Zero" (Featured Snippets, People Also Ask boxes, and voice search queries). Map out and build conversational FAQ structures and logical knowledge trees that match natural language patterns. • Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Optimize brand digital footprints so they are recognized, trusted, and cited as authoritative recommendations within LLMs (Large Language Models) like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude. • Advanced Semantic & Entity-Based SEO: Shift strategies from basic keyword matching to Entity and Knowledge Graph mapping. Implement advanced, nested Schema.org structured data to feed search engines explicit data points. • AI Crawler Management: Implement and monitor technical discovery protocols for AI agents (such as managing llms.txt configurations and ensuring proper indexing permissions for AI bots). • Content "Information Gain" Mapping: Partner with content teams to front-load data density (minimizing narrative fluff to cater to AI summaries) and inject unique statistics, primary data, and authority signals that AI engines prioritize for citations. • Analytics Evolution & Attribution: Go beyond standard organic traffic reporting to build advanced dashboards that track AI referral traffic, citation rates, and semantic market share. Requirements • Experience: 3+ years of technical SEO experience within an agency environment. Proven exposure to optimizing content for AI overviews, featured snippets, or conversational search environments • Modern SEO/GEO Toolset: Mastery of standard tech tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4) alongside emerging platforms used to track AI visibility and brand citations • Data Density Mindset: Ability to audit copy not just for readability, but for structural clarity, ensuring a high "Fact Density Ratio" that AI engines can easily digest and extract • Agile & Inquisitive: Actively tracks search engine algorithm changes and early AI search experiments to turn theoretical shifts into immediate client advantages
