Join a busy Australian residential construction business in a broad, fully remote administration role covering supplier invoices, purchase orders, data entry and general office support. This is a stable, long-term position with training provided and plenty of variety. Role Summary This role owns the administration that keeps the business’s construction projects running smoothly, from raising and managing purchase orders through to processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements. Day to day, you will maintain accurate records across the business’s accounting and project management systems, keep project and job files organised and up to date, and handle correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors. You will also provide general support to the wider team and will be encouraged to learn new software and AI tools to streamline how the business operates. The ideal person is organised, dependable and quick to pick up new systems, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career with the business. Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices accurately and on time, matching them against purchase orders and delivery records. Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring correct pricing, quantities and supplier details. Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies, missing invoices and credits. Maintain accurate records across accounting and project management systems. Support general office administration, including data entry, filing and document management. Assist with supplier and subcontractor correspondence and general enquiries. Keep project and job files up to date, organised and easy to find. Learn and use new software and AI tools to streamline administration and improve day-to-day operations. Provide general support to the wider team as required to keep the business running smoothly. What We Are Looking For Previous administration experience, ideally within a construction or trades business. AU Construction industry experience is highly regarded. Experience processing supplier invoices. A clear understanding of the difference between purchase orders and invoices. Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly. Familiar with, or genuinely enthusiastic about, applying AI tools to improve productivity and day-to-day operations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and records. Well organised, able to manage competing tasks and deadlines without being told twice. Demonstrated employment stability, with a preference for candidates who have remained with previous employers for approximately two years or more. A genuine interest in establishing a long-term career within the business and growing alongside the team. Excellent written and spoken English. Requirements Stable work-from-home setup (reliable internet, laptop or desktop, quiet workspace). Available to work full-time during Australian business hours.
