This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, guiding development teams, establishing best practices, and ensuring high-quality software outcomes. Working within an agile environment, the Tech Lead will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver robust and maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of React and Node.js applications. Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to developers across the team. Drive engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimisation. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Identify and resolve technical risks, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, including significant experience with React and Node.js. Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications. Proven ability to lead technical teams and make architectural decisions. Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices in modern development environments. Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, testing methodologies, and secure coding practices.
