We're Hiring: Senior Australian Tax \& Business Advisory Accountant Are you an experienced Australian Tax Accountant who wants to do more than prepare tax returns? We're partnering with a highly respected Australian accounting and advisory practice seeking a Senior Australian Tax \& Business Advisory Accountant who can think beyond compliance, provide commercial insights, and become a trusted adviser to business owners. What You'll Be Doing - Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships - Providing advice across: Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Division 7A Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) GST Tax Planning Business Structures Personal Services Income (PSI) - Supporting business advisory engagements including: Cashflow analysis Budgeting and forecasting Strategic tax planning Business performance insights - Conducting technical research and preparing written tax advice - Communicating directly with Australian clients and becoming a trusted technical resource We're Looking For ✅ Minimum 5 years of Australian Accounting and Taxation experience ✅ Strong technical expertise across Australian tax legislation ✅ Experience handling individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships ✅ Advanced knowledge of CGT, Division 7A, FBT, GST, tax planning, and business structures ✅ Experience with Xero, Xero Tax, Xero Practice Manager, and Microsoft Office ✅ Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills ✅ Big 4 or reputable Mid-Tier accounting experience highly regarded The Kind of Professional Who Will Thrive You're not just a tax preparer.
