Role Overview Performs analytical method validation and/or verification of simple and semi-complex analytical procedures per approved validation protocol. Documents new and updated analytical procedures and/or analytical technology transfer (ATT) protocol based on compendia and/or analytical method validation protocol and report. Conducts simple and semi-complex physico-chemical analysis of finished products for product authentication. Conducts lab investigation of out of specs (OOS) test results by following the OOS procedure and accomplishing the OOS check list, with supervision. Performs the required internal calibration, verification and/or system checks of instruments (e.g., pH meters, analytical balances, dissolution testers, HPLC) based on documented work instructions & equipment manual. Assists in the monitoring of calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, inventory and maintenance of laboratory reagents, supplies, reference standards and consumables. Informs QC Lab Services on the need to replenish/purchase current and new reagents, reference standards and supplies. Updates procedural documents relative to job function, as assigned by the lab supervisor. Assists in the training of new lab analyst and student trainees. Works on special projects assigned by the Immediate Superior or Section/ Department Head. Role Qualifications Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in: Biology (Major in Microbiology), Microbiology Good knowledge of aseptic technique and Good Laboratory Practices Knowledgeable and experienced in microbiology testing Good written and verbal communication skills
