Full-Time Short-Form Video Editor (Content Creators \& CEO Content)Full-Time Short-Form Video Editor Nova NRG is looking for a full-time Video Editor with direct experience creating short-form content for content creators, founders, coaches, CEOs, podcasts, and personal brands targeting the U.S. market. This is not a basic editing role. We are specifically looking for someone who understands storytelling, audience retention, engagement, and how to turn long-form content into high-performing short-form videos. Compensation $200 USD per week Full-time position (40 hours per week) Long-term growth opportunities based on performance Opportunity to support additional brands and sister companies as workload expands Responsibilities Create 10–15 short-form videos weekly Turn podcasts, interviews, webinars, and long-form content into engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts Create strong hooks that capture attention immediately Use storytelling techniques to increase watch time and engagement Add captions, pacing, cuts, zooms, and retention-focused edits Study U.S. social media trends and audience behavior Implement feedback quickly and maintain consistent turnaround times Requirements Excellent English communication skills Experience editing content for content creators, founders, coaches, CEOs, podcasts, or personal brands Experience turning long-form content into short-form videos Strong understanding of: Storytelling Audience retention Viewer engagement Hook creation U.S. social media content Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Please Do NOT Apply If: Your experience is primarily wedding videos, gaming videos, corporate videos, music videos, or general video editing. You do not have experience creating short-form content from podcasts, interviews, or creator content. You are unfamiliar with retention editing, storytelling, and engagement-focused content. You have not worked on content intended for social media growth. Shortlisted applicants will receive source material and will be asked to create one short-form video under 2 minutes . This assessment will be reviewed before moving candidates forward in the interview process and will be used to evaluate: Storytelling ability Hook selection Audience retention Engagement-focused editing Understanding of U.S. market content Please apply only if you are comfortable completing a short editing assessment as part of the hiring process.
