JOB TITLE: ADP Workforce Software (WFS) Test Specialist LOCATION and Shift: Remote – Philippines, US EST Time Zone Summary: The ADP Workforce Software (WFS) Test Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities for ADP Workforce Software (WFS) implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements. This role ensures that WFS configurations and integrations meet business requirements across timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, accruals, payroll interfaces, and workforce management processes. The specialist works closely with project managers, WFS functional consultants, payroll teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to validate system functionality, identify defects, and support successful project deployments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience testing ADP Workforce Software (WFS) and a strong understanding of workforce management and payroll processes. Responsibilities Testing Strategy \& Planning Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and testing schedules for ADP Workforce Software implementations and enhancements. Define testing scope, timelines, dependencies, and entry/exit criteria. Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and post-deployment validation activities. Collaborate with project teams to ensure testing activities align with project milestones and deployment schedules. ADP Workforce Software Testing Execute testing activities specifically within ADP Workforce Software (WFS). Validate WFS configurations including: Timekeeping rules Pay rules and calculations Scheduling configurations Attendance policies Leave and accrual configurations Verify workforce management processes align with business and compliance requirements. Validate end-to-end employee lifecycle scenarios impacting workforce management and payroll processing. Test Case Development \& Execution Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and validation scenarios based on business and functional requirements. Execute test cases and document results, evidence, and validation logs. Perform positive, negative, boundary, and end-to-end testing scenarios. Validate payroll impacts from time capture through payroll output. Integration \& Data Validation Test and validate integrations between ADP Workforce Software and: Payroll systems HRIS platforms Time clocks and badge readers Third-party workforce management applications Data export and reporting solutions Verify file layouts, field mappings, transformation logic, and data integrity. Ensure inbound and outbound interfaces function as expected across integrated systems. Defect Management Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution. Work closely with WFS consultants, configuration teams, and technical resources to troubleshoot issues. Perform root cause analysis and validate corrective actions. Conduct retesting and regression testing following defect resolution. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support business stakeholders during UAT planning and execution. Provide guidance on test execution, issue logging, and defect reporting. Monitor UAT progress and ensure completion of required test scenarios. Facilitate defect triage and resolution activities. Documentation \& Reporting Maintain comprehensive testing documentation including: Test plans Test scripts Test cases Defect logs Test execution results Status reports Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans. Go-Live \& Post-Production Support Participate in deployment planning and cutover activities. Perform post-go-live validation testing. Support stabilization efforts and issue resolution following production deployment. Validate workforce management and payroll processes after implementation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Software (WFS). Minimum of 3 years of experience in workforce management system testing, payroll system testing, or related QA/testing functions. Experience testing ADP Workforce Software modules including: Timekeeping Scheduling Attendance Leave and Accruals Payroll Interfaces Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and payroll validation testing. Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Strong understanding of workforce management processes and payroll calculations. Experience with defect management and test tracking tools. Experience participating in at least one ADP Workforce Software implementation, enhancement, upgrade, or migration project. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with global or multi-country workforce management deployments. Experience testing payroll integrations involving ADP GlobalView, Celergo, or similar payroll platforms. Knowledge of labor compliance, workforce regulations, and payroll legislation. Experience with time clocks, badge readers, kiosks, and mobile time capture solutions. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments. ISTQB, Certified Tester, or similar testing certification.
