Work Set-up: Fully Remote | Nightshift Responsibilities International & Domestic Logistics Support international, export, and domestic transportation operations, including shipment coordination, tracking, and issue resolution. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, plants, and customers to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor shipment status, capacity, schedules, and transportation exceptions. Carrier & Transportation Management Assist with carrier sourcing, onboarding, compliance, performance monitoring, and relationship management. Support transportation planning, load assignment, routing, rate management, bids, and contract activities. Help resolve carrier service, capacity, and operational issues. Shipment Visibility & Reporting Maintain shipment records, tracking updates, transportation costs, and operational reports. Monitor service performance, carrier KPIs, and shipment visibility. Support recovery plans for delayed or at-risk shipments. Financial & Process Support Review freight costs, invoices, rates, and billing discrepancies. Assist with cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and savings initiatives. Support logistics systems, reporting, process improvements, and SOP documentation. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, Warehousing, Production, Finance, and external partners. Support special projects, inventory movements, claims management, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide occasional travel and after-hours support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, International Business or any related field. 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, carrier relations, or international logistics, preferably with experience handling shipments of F&B, FMCG, or other consumer goods. Experience coordinating ocean exports, cross-border transportation, and domestic freight preferred. Experience with carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, transportation bids, capacity management, and carrier performance preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, customer service, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Able to manage high-volume communications and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with strong planning, follow-through, and attention to detail. Experience tracking KPIs, analyzing performance, and presenting insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in cost, rate, and margin analysis. Capable of making sound operational and financial decisions with minimal supervision. Strong English communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Effective at working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. Technical Expertise: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP, CRM, shipment-visibility platforms, carrier-compliance systems, and other logistics or supply-chain software. Experience with OTM, Epicor, 4Kites, EDI, Power BI, CarrierWatch, RMIS, or SaferWatch is preferred.
